GigCue is run by ClearCast Consulting LLC, a Georgia company ("we"). This explains what GigCue keeps about you, why, who else handles it, and how to get it removed. Questions: [email protected].

What we keep

  • Your account: your email address, your name and your business name, and the settings you choose (time zone, home city and airport, day rate).
  • Your work: clients, contacts, jobs, days worked, expenses, invoices and documents you add or that come in with your mail.
  • Mail you forward to GigCue: each message sent to your GigCue forwarding address, including attachments. Messages that don't look like work may be set aside or discarded, according to your settings.
  • Texts you share into GigCue from your phone's share sheet.
  • Devices: a name and model for each phone you sign in on, and the notification tokens Apple provides so we can send you alerts.
  • Sign-in and security records: when you signed in, and failed attempts, kept to protect your account.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone. The only cookie GigCue sets keeps you signed in.

Who else handles it

A few services do specific jobs for us, and see only what that job needs:

  • Cloudflare: carries traffic to our servers, and receives mail sent to your forwarding address. If our servers can't take a message straight away, Cloudflare holds it until they collect it, normally within minutes.
  • Postmark: sends your sign-in emails, and the replies you approve, addressed as "Your Name via GigCue".
  • Anthropic (Claude): when GigCue drafts a reply or you use the assistant, the relevant message and job details are sent to Anthropic to write it. Anthropic does not use this to train its models.
  • Apple: delivers notifications to your iPhone.
  • Backblaze: stores encrypted nightly backups of our database and files.

Your data is stored on servers we operate in Georgia, United States.

Nothing is sent without you

GigCue drafts replies, but it never sends anything to your clients until you approve that exact message. Texts you share get a reply for you to copy into Messages yourself; GigCue never sends texts.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days. Encrypted backups are kept for up to a year and then removed; we don't restore deleted accounts from them.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at [email protected]. You can stop forwarding mail to GigCue at any time from your mail provider's settings.

Children

GigCue is for businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
